Kadlec Regional Medical Center's Respiratory Department was recognized as one of the Best of 2013 Respiratory Care Departments in the nation by RT Magazine.

The Emergency Nurses Association has announced that Kadlec Regional Medical Center was one of 20 recipients of the first annual Lantern Awards. The Lantern Award is given to emergency departments that exemplify exceptional and innovative performance in the core areas of leadership, practice, education, advocacy and research. 2011-2014.

Kadlec Regional Medical Center has been awarded a grade A in hospital Safety for delivering outstanding results in patient safety for 2012, 2013 and 2014 by the Leapfrog Group. This award is a testament to Kadlec’s priority to patient care and safety.

Kadlec Regional Medical Center’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is recognized as among the best in the country. In early 2010, the unit received a Beacon Award for Critical Care Excellence, something only 2 percent of ICUs receive. Of the approximately 6,000 ICUs across the country, only 122 were recognized as Beacon units in 2009.
